Allison was at a USTA State Tournament playing a match when one of her opponents started yelling “let! let!”. As Allison tried to figure out what was happening, she realized that her opponent had been stung by a bee INSIDE HER TENNIS SKIRT. Allison and her partner gave the opponent a few minutes to to deal with the buzzing in her pants.
Carolyn & Erin played in a doubles tournament together and played against a mother/daughter pair. Carolyn & Erin dominated the match beating their opponents 6-2; 6-1. When shaking hands at the net, the mother, graciously congratulated the winning pair and then told them, although she disliked losing the match, her greatest joy was playing tennis with her daughter.
