Sara is an attorney by day; tennis player by night. This is Part Two of “Sara Does it All!” When she started playing tennis, there weren’t enough opportunities so she formed a community tennis association (CTA) to play more tennis.
Sara’s tennis story began when she was on vacation in Florida in her early 30s. She and her family started playing together and when she returned home, she found a tennis coach and started taking lessons. She immediately fell in love with the sport and is now an NTRP 3.5.
Sara formed the “Jackson West-TN Tennis Association” (JWTTA) and She served as the Secretary, then President of the CTA board, and now is the Past-President.
Sara is also the President of USTA Tennessee. She is a local league coordinator, has captained numerous teams, and served on committees for the Southern Section. She also works on programming locally and manages the JWTTA website and social media pages.
Again, we say, “Sara does it all!”.
